Dog Leaps In Front Of Bus To Save His Blind Owner

In Brewster, New York, Figo the guide dog put his own life at risk, by jumping in front of an oncoming school bus, to shield his visually impaired owner, 62-year-old Audrey Stone, from harm.
Figo and his owner were both struck by the bus, sustaining injuries which are, thankfully, not too serious.
Hailed as an animal hero, Figo is presently “resting comfortably and recovering nicely from his wounds”, according to the Middlebranch Veterinary in New York.
For the love of animals. Pass it on.
