Peggy Quah is currently looking after 20 cats in her back alley and around her neighbourhood. We are helping her with the cost of the spay-neuter for all these cats. Peggy lives in Klang and there is a vet near her place, so she uses her own vet.
We've done seven so far, and here's another three females, done sometime last week:
Cindy
Tiger
Ebony
Peggy gets them done 2-3 at a time so that she would have time to take care of them until full recovery before releasing them back into the neighbourhood.
Peggy is reluctant to get the cats adopted because of the agony and nightmare of dealing with adopters who may not turn out to be responsible or caring. Yes, we've had quite a few of those around lately. I can certainly empathise with that.
If we have understanding neighbours who don't mind cats living in the back alley, wouldn't that be wonderful? Sadly, I don't. My back neighbour absolutely hates animals and even a yelp or a meow can drive them to complete insane shouting and cursing. That's one of the few reasons I'm moving too!
We thank Peggy for her kind donation back into our fund. It will go towards helping the next few animals who come our way. And we are also very grateful to Peggy for helping us take tshirt orders and deliver them to her many friends.
