UPDATE ON THE DOG RESCUED FROM HELL

We recently told you about a case of such severe animal cruelty, it shocked our seasoned investigators.

A live dog was found with the lower half of his body buried in the ground so he was unable to move. He had been like this for anything from 2 week to 2 months.

He was being force-fed coconut milk in the belief that when he was finally slaughtered for his meat, the flavour would make the meat taste better.

The dog is now being cared for at a private clinic in Kanchanaburi, in western Thailand, which is the region where he was found.

A network of volunteers is funding his treatment and sending us updates on the dog, who they have now called Dam (meaning “black colour” in Thai).

The great news is that now Dam is standing and using all four legs again, and continues to make progress every day.

Once he has fully healed, the volunteers caring for him will seek a forever home for Dam and are already receiving many offers from kind-hearted animal lovers who have been touched by his story.

Soi Dog Foundation remains on standby to provide any assistance needed.
