MORE PHOTOS FROM UDON THANI SLAUGHTERHOUSE RAID
A few hours ago, we updated you on a raid carried out by our undercover investigators on another illegal dog slaughterhouse. The raid was the result of a tip-off and occurred in Udon Thani, north-eastern Thailand.
Will you please keep the pressure on by funding a public awareness billboard? These billboards are erected in traditional dog meat territory of north and north-eastern Thailand and offer a reward to anyone who provides information on suspected dog meat trade activity.

The butcher confessed that the barbaric trade had been in his family since he inherited the illegal business from his father-in-law. His wife had the role of truck driver and dog snatcher, keeping dogs she grabbed from nearby villages in a shed in the backyard of the premises.
The son-in-law was the butcher, slaughtering the dogs and distributing their meat in local villages, or packing it on ice for smuggling across the border to Laos, where demand for dog meat is higher.
With the cooperation of the Royal Thai police, our investigators raided the premises where these evil perpetrators were arrested and 42 kilos of dog meat seized as evidence. No live dogs were found.
The criminals will now face charges under both the Animal Welfare and the Prevention of Contagious Disease laws.
Will you help shut down these underground slaughterhouses? Please fund the production of a public awareness billboard that offers a reward to those who provide tip-offs about these barbaric butchers.
