Will You Commit To Helping A Dog Like Montha Today?

IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT I WAS JUST TRYING TO FIND SOME FOOD WHEN I WAS VICIOUSLY ATTACKED
I am Montha. I have lived on the streets of Thailand since the day I was born, like millions of others. I have never had an owner. I am 5 years old now.
I did okay on the streets. There were some kind people in my territory who fed all the street dogs every day and I was managing to get by. I tried to stay out of trouble; I just wanted a quiet life.
The night I was attacked is one I will never forget. I had wandered outside my territory and found some tasty food in the trash. Thats when the big angry dog appeared. I didnt even have time to react.
He jumped on me and we got in a huge fight but I didnt stand a chance. I ended up covered in bite marks and serious wounds all over my body. Some kind people who saw what had happened managed to pick me up even though I was terrified. They raced me to the nearest vet clinic and from there I was moved to the Soi Dog shelter.
Every day since then has been one of recovery and healing. The vets here are kind to me and slowly but surely, my wounds are improving. I know that I am one of the lucky ones, because my treatment is being funded by Soi Dog supporters. It simply would not be possible without them.
If anything can come out of my traumatic story, I would like it to be YOU signing up to help more animals like me. The sad truth is that these sick and injured stray dogs (and cats too) will die without help.
Please dont think that whatever you can send every month will not be enough it will achieve miracles for thousands of desperately needy animals every year. Your small, regular gift will go so much further here in Thailand.
These animals need you. There is simply nobody else. Please dont turn away from them.
Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured stray animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
