My name is Jacqueline. PLEASE ADOPT ME!
E-mail alex@soidog.org to adopt me!
I am over 2 years old and have spent nearly my whole life at the Soi Dog shelter, Phuket, Thailand.
I was one of six puppies found living near a waterfall. Our mummy was killed with poison so there was no-one to look after us. We would have died if we had not been rescued that day. Four of my siblings have been adopted already, but my sister Jackie and I, still remain at the sanctuary.
I am incredibly pretty, with a cheeky face and one lopsided ear. I have a permanent daft grin on my face, no matter what I am doing. I make the people here laugh every day with my silly antics. I am always dashing around creating mischief. When I see my volunteer dog walker arrive in the mornings I dart over to the fence and jump up to get a good look at her. I wag my tail and get terribly excited. I love greeting her; I leap up and cover her face with kisses! I am very affectionate. If you sit anywhere for too long I will come over to you and give you lots of licks. It is my way of showing you that I like you. My sister is the same. Everybody comments on how similar we are.
While I have the confidence to cope well at the shelter, I would be so much more suited to a good home with good people to take care of me. People who have the time to give me attention every day. At the moment I have to share the affections of my dog walking volunteer with lots of other dogs vying for her attention. It may sound greedy but I would like to have somebody all to myself. I am full of energy and love being busy but I am also a kind girl who just loves humans and I would make such a wonderful pet. I would simply thrive in a home of my own!
Please come and get me before it is too late. I have heard of shelter life wearing other dogs down and I can only hope that that does not happen to me.
E-mail alex@soidog.org to find out how you can come to my rescue.
Please adopt me!
