My name is Arturo. Please adopt me!
E-mail alex@soidog.org to adopt me!
I am nearly four and I have been living at Soi Dog, Phuket, Thailand for almost a year now.
I am living at the shelter because I was abandoned by my owner. I have no idea why. I thought we were happy together. I must have been mistaken. When my owner left me, the people in my neighbourhood tried to poison me to death. Luckily Soi Dog supporters saved me from certain death..
I am so very grateful that they did. I honestly do not think I would have survived otherwise. My sister Jamya lives here as well. We are OK at Soi Dog, but it can never replicate a proper home with a family. We live in a run with 18 other dogs and while there are far less happy places to be, we do not really belong here.
When I first arrived at the shelter I was a little scared. However, I have grown in confidence and am now one of the first dogs at the gate, eager for a walk. The human folk here say I would make such a wonderful pet as I am a sweet natured boy with a friendly smile. I love jumping up for cuddles with people and I often make everyone here laugh with my silly antics.
I have a happy and positive nature. I really believe my new home is just around the corner. It just has to be…. Are you my new ‘forever home?’ I do hope you are….
Please e-mail alex@soidog.org to learn how to make this happen.
