HUA PING, FREED FROM A BIN!

Meet Hua Ping, a common wolf snake who got stuck inside a bin and needed to be rescued!

Fortunately, she was spotted by the residents of the house who called us for help. Common wolf snakes, otherwise called house snakes, are one of the most commonly found native species of snakes in Singapore. As their name suggests, they live close to human environments where there are abundant geckos and small lizards to prey on. Hua Ping probably followed a gecko and ended up stuck in the bin. She was released back into the wild soon after rescue!

On her behalf, we would like to extend our thanks to the caller for their compassion!

Do remember to call the ACRES 24-hour Wildlife Rescue Hotline at 97837782 if you spot any wild animal in Singapore who may need some help.
