Appeal for Information: Guinea Pig found (allegedly abandoned) at void deck

[SPCA Ref. No.: AH 128443]

On 8 May 2015 (last Friday) at about 11.45pm, a Guinea Pig (see pic) was found allegedly abandoned in a white, flat-bottomed cage (see pic) at the void deck of Blk 130 Bedok North St 2, near lift lobby B.

It was found to be in good physical condition and is currently up for adoption at our shelter.

The SPCA is urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call our 24-hour hotline at 62875355 (ext. 9), or e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

* Under the Animals and Birds Act, anyone who is found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
