AT 10 YEARS OF AGE, PUMA ARRIVED AT OUR SHELTER ON THE BRINK OF DEATH…

She had been hit by a car and left for dead. Injuries to both her hind legs meant she struggled to walk. She was also diagnosed with severe anaemia and low blood platelets. Shockingly weak, it was an immediate battle to save her life.

Without YOU, dogs like Puma have no hope. Sick or injured stray animals have nobody to help them when they need medical treatment. There is only you.

Because of people like you, our vets were able to get Puma the emergency medical care she needed. Despite her frailty, her appetite soon returned, which helped in her recovery. She was started on medication for her anaemia and once her strength began to return, she was soon up and walking again.
