This is by far one of the worse case we have accepted into our shelter.

Bravery (name given due to her bravery and strong will to survive) was abandoned outside our shelter in a very bad shape. Foul smell was coming out from the fresh huge open wound on her back. And add on to our horror was she left only with only one ear. Whether she has been attacked by other dogs or been intentionally abused by some sick humans, we do not know. All we know is that we have to save this fragile life standing right outside our doorstep…period.

Madam Tan sent Bravery to the vet for treatment and she has since underwent surgery to have her wound stitched up. Bravery is currently recuperating at the vet clinic. We know Bravery will somehow be able to pull through this ordeal.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the donors who had help chip-in for Bravery’s medical bill. We know like us, Bravery felt appreciative for being given a second chance.

Let us continue to keep Bravery in our prayers and hope that she will recover soon. Perhaps, one day she will be lucky enough to be adopted and given the love and care she deserve. Will that person be you? :)

SPCA Seberang Perai

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
