Amy Tham came to my house today, to collect some RetroMAD1 for Mama-Cat. Mama has faucitis and is fiv+. There is no known conventional treatment for faucitis except for periodic steroid jabs and since Mama is fiv+, this gum problem will be chronic and might get worse with time.
By the way, all the RetroMAD1 I have left now is for the TVT-dog and Mama-Cat. If you'd like to get some, please write to me and I'll get you in touch with the vet in Puchong who might still have supply.
So, Amy came....and brought along a small box.
What's in the box, I asked?
Well, well, well....take a look....
Why, it's.......a kitty!
Where, what, how....??
Okay, here's the story....
Someone handed over (I'm refraining myself from using the word "dump" out of sheer politeness on this auspicious day) the kitten in the box to Amy's sister and said, "Give to Amy" and scooted off.
More to the story - someone else had told this someone to just "buang kat tepi jalan" will do, but the someone thought it would be better to give (again, I mean, "dump") the kitten on Amy (without asking Amy).
Let us, on the occasion of this auspicious day, at least give credit to the someone for not listening to the other buang-kat-tepi-jalan someone.
So, Amy took over the kitten AND has already found an adopter who says the family will take over the kitten after Hari Raya.
All's well?
Well, not quite, because the kitten has a limp on his back leg.
Yes, the little thing is limping, and Amy suspects the someone's daughter could have kicked the kitten as that girl is prone to doing such things.
Isn't he just so cute?
LOOK AT THAT FACE!
Super manja, too!
And he was completely well-behaved in the car. Did not make a single sound until Amy had to keep checking to see if he was still breathing!
Of course he was. He's just so well-behaved.
Fell right asleep....on Ming-Yi's lap.
Amy said he did not want to eat much, so I thought I'd just try some of my brood's Royal Canin kibbles as this brand is known to be very palatable.
Yum, yum, yum....he ate it all up!
I told Ming-Yi to go get a wee bit more, but no, the well-behaved one said thank you; he had had enough and went straight back to the bag to sleep.
Gosh, what more can you ask from a little kitten, right?
He sure reminds me of Rex, one of the three Sunnies. Rex was super well-behaved too. Very aristocratic. His every movement is one of CLASS. I'll bet Rex has royal blood in him.
Cow, as a good host, came to say "hi".
I suggested that Amy bring the little kitty to our vet tomorrow for a check-up. I hope his leg will heal on its own. Also, the little kitten does not seem to have much bowel control. Amy noticed that, and he also poo-ed in my house. No control - just let go.
We'll know more tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I suggested to Amy to name him "Nuzul" since today is the Nuzul Quran holiday. Nuzul means Revelation. A nice name, won't you say?
