Appeal for Information: Cats found (allegedly abandoned) at lift lobby

[SPCA Ref. No.: AH 128349]

On 5 May 2015 (Tuesday) at about 7.20am, two cats were found allegedly abandoned at the third floor lift lobby of Blk 822 Jurong West St. 81, in a rabbit cage (see pictures).

Both cats were found to be in good physical condition and are currently at our shelter. They would be placed for adoption once checked and treated by our vets.

The SPCA is urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call our 24-hour hotline at 62875355 (ext. 9), or e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

* Under the revised Animals and Birds Act, anyone who is found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
