NEXT WEEK IS ALL ABOUT TACKLING ANIMAL CRIME: BE A PART OF IT!
Next week is going to be a very important and exciting week for the animals!
Come chill with us at IndoChine on Saturday (16th May), as we kick back and relax over food and drinks, all for the animals of course! Our partner, IndoChine, is creating a food item and a drink item and generously donating the proceeds from sales for that evening to our Animal Crime Investigation Unit and our fight against animal cruelty and wildlife crime!
Our Chief Executive, Louis Ng, will be there together with ACRES staff to chill with you as we celebrate a night for the animals!
And if you miss the Saturday night festivities, we still have the ACRES Flag Day (Sunday17th May); an extremely important day for ACRES on which our amazing volunteers will be busy all over Singapore, raising funds for the Animal Crime Investigation Unit and playing their part in ending animal cruelty and wildlife crime. We need as many volunteers as possible, including you!

Were aiming to make this year’s Flag Day, on the 17th of May, bigger and better than ever before!
And for good reason. Were raising funds to fight animal cruelty and wildlife crime in Singapore, through our new Animal Crime Investigation Unit.
And we need YOUR help!
Were looking to gather 500 volunteers to help with the Flag Day, so that we can raise the funds needed to make a huge difference in the fight against animal crime. Join in, and be part of something truly worthwhile!

The donation tins will be distributed at various locations (listed below), so its easy for you to find somewhere convenient to collect your tin.
o Choa Chu Kang (Pathway between MRT and Lot 1)
o Jurong East (Pathway between JCube and NTUC)
o Sembawang (Behind bicycle stand at MRT station)
o Toa Payoh (Toa Payoh Central open area in front of library)
o Dhoby Ghaut (Roundabout beside Dhoby Ghaut Green)
o Outram Park (Exit F)
o HarbourFront (Exit D)
o Bugis (Carpark beside exit A)
o Serangoon (Behind multi-storey carpark of bus interchange)
o Tampines (Outside Tampines library)
A few things to note:
- Shift 1 is from 9am 1pm. Shift 2 is from 1pm-5pm. You can sign up for either, or both, shifts.
- Anyone can sign up as a volunteer, but those below 16 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 or over.
- Volunteers are allowed to wear school uniform.
- Volunteers who own any ACRES T-shirt are encouraged to wear the T-shirt on the Flag Day.
- Volunteers must report on time at the donation tin collection point that they have signed up for.
ONE TIN CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ANIMAL CRIME!
