RESCUED ANIMALS HAVE GREENER SURROUNDINGS, THANKS TO ST. ANDREWS JUNIOR COLLEGE STUDENTS!

On the 7th of April, we welcomed a group of 20 students from St. Andrews Junior College to the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre. They spent a whole day planting new plants and small trees in the Outdoor Sanctuary Area, making the area even more wild and green for the reptilian residents.

What makes their contribution even more special is that not only did they put in the hard work with the gardening; they also put in the hard work to raise the funds to buy the plants! They organised a fundraising event two weeks before the actual volunteering day, and raised $170 to purchase the new plants and trees!

We would like to thank these wonderful students for their dedication to the animals!
