We have some bad news about Ah Wong here. =( Life ain't peachy after her 1st reconstructive surgery as her pee-ing problem couldn't be fixed yet. Her urethra has been blocked by scar tissues. Dr Edmund had to perform a subsequent reconstructive surgery to make the 'pee-ing hole' bigger again.
Madame Wong is still at Dr Edmund's clinic, under observation after her first reconstructive surgery.
Close up of her private part after reconstructive surgery. Tumor (i.e. the dangling vagina) has been removed and the 'pee-ing' hole has been reconstructed to be right under her anus.
Close-up of her private part & stitches aren't removed.
Please give her a second chance! She is still a happy old lady and we are hoping to let her live out her twilight years.
Please please please help us to help Madame Wong. We are here to appeal for funds for her daily BARF diet, boarding charges, supplements & medications and 2nd reconstructive surgery. We have previously collected RM1,106 via petfinder.my medical fund. Her current medical bill from 7/7/2011 − 6/8/2011 is RM1,379 (not inclusive of her daily BARF diet & 2nd reconstructive surgery). We estimate an additional of RM2,500 is needed for her 2nd & 3rd surgery and a few acupuncture sessions to improve her nerve injury on the hind leg too. 3rd surgery is for removal of the 3 lumps between her nipples (yea... the so-called breast cancer) & spay her for prevention of pyometra.
Ah Wong has undergone 2nd reconstructive surgery last week and hopefully things are getting better for her after all the obstacles she has been facing. Her latest pics will be posted soon! Dr Edmund & Dr Liu are now observing her wound and 'pee-ing' habit closely. We are praying so hard there is no more blockage of urethra. We have also arranged her very first acupuncture session with Dr Susanna from Asia Paws to ease the nerve injury on her leg.
Our super-duper tough lady has pull through her 1st & 2nd surgery despite her old age and heart murmur. Please please send her loads of positive vibes and well wishes to help her pull through the 3rd (and hopefully the very last) surgery. Everyone who has seen Madame Wong commented that she looks way younger than her actual age (14 years old). The secret of her youthful look could be down to her happy-go-lucky nature that never fail to make us grinning from ear-to-ear whenever we visit her. We are so glad that we had decided to give her as many chances in her life as we could and never intend to put her down.
