BECAUSE OF YOU, EMERGENCY CASES LIKE ME CONTINUE TO BE SAVED

I was born on the streets of Thailand about two years ago, and have lived there my whole life. My name is Elisa. It hasnt been easy, but I somehow got by from day to day. Until I went through my most frightening experience ever and suddenly thought it was all over.

Two weeks ago, a speeding car hit me right in the face, smashing the left side of my jaw open and knocking out several of my teeth. In terror, I took off and have been on the run ever since – until now.

It took so many attempts for the Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog to catch me. I was so terrified. I didnt know he was trying to help, so I kept running away and hiding, keeping low in the nearby hills. By the time I was finally caught, the wound at my mouth was seriously infected.

It is only because of people like you that I am still alive today. Without Soi Dog supporters, I would have died alone in those hills where I lay hiding. My infected jaw would have led to septicaemia and a slow painful death.

Instead, because of people like you, I have been saved. My infection is being treated now, and I am eating well despite the injury to my mouth. Because of you, I am safe, but so many more are not.

As you read this, a frightened stray animal desperately needs your help. If you do just one thing today, will you please sign up to make a small, regular gift just a few dollars a week so that others like me can be saved?

Please dont turn away from our suffering. There is simply no hope for animals like us if we dont have you on our side.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick or injured stray animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
