Remember Ginger’s blankie? Well, one of our readers had been eyeing at another Carebears blanket of the same colour. It so happened that Joy had donated many pieces of lovely cartoony cloth to us, and one of these pieces is the exact same cloth!
We haven’t done auctions in a long, long time, so let’s have a go at it again…

6.24am: Kiki bids RM200.
On the left is Ginger on his Carebears blanket. Ginger insisted on supervising the making of this blanket, of course. It took me a few days to complete it.
Heidi helped too.
There’s no way I can make an identical blanket to Ginger’s as we don’t have the matching cloth anymore, so I searched and found some other cloth. The Carebears and batik are both donated by Joy. Thank you very much, Joy!
Ginger says he approves…
It’s a simple pattern with the Carebears pieces large enough so that the bears can be seen.
Ginger stamps his approval!
This blanket measures 56 inches by 81 inches.
The backing will be done by my mum after the bidding is done. The backing cloth is the one donated by Agnes. It’s in matching beige too!
