IF YOU COULD TAKE ME TO HOSPITAL, WOULD YOU?

They tell me being loved by a human is the best feeling in the world, but I wouldn�t know. I have lived my life on the streets, just fighting to stay alive. It�s a lonely existence but it�s the only one I�ve ever known. My name is Flanker; I am just 2 years old.

I know I don�t look the best, but without a human to help me, there was nothing I could do. My fur all started to fall out as I got sicker and sicker. I was scratching constantly and ugly, crusted sores took over my face and parts of my body.

They talk here about something called demodectic mange. They say this is what has been making me so sick but that there are people out there � people just like you � who want to help me. Is this true?

They say there is a dream of a special hospital for dogs just like me, where there is everything we need for the doctors to make us better. They say YOU can help make it happen. They are giving me special medicine now, but there are so, so many of us here in this little clinic.

I didn�t know so many other dogs shared my suffering and it makes me sad. Will you help us? Will you become an Angel for Dogs like me, so that this special hospital place can happen? Without you, the suffering will go on, but with your support, so many of us will be helped.
