When We Received Reports Of A Dog With Half His Leg Hanging Off, A Desperate Rescue Operation Began…
It was late on a Saturday night when we began to receive calls about a dog that had been spotted running with half his leg hanging off. The dog was terrified, and although many locals tried to catch him, nobody managed to do so before he disappeared and night fell.
Our supporters are vital in emergency situations like this. Without them, none of these animals can be rescued. Please CLICK THIS LINK to help today: http://bit.ly/Saving_Popular
At first light the next day, our Animal Rescue Officer was dispatched to where we had received reports of the dog hiding under a partially-constructed building. It appeared that he had chewed the remains of his right leg off.
Animal Rescue Officer Khun Nok was able to safely catch poor Popular and transport him to our shelter. Due to the extent of his injury – and our familiarity with this type of injury – it was obvious that Popular had been caught in a wild boar snare.

The agony this boy would have suffered is unimaginable – but it was great enough for him to attempt to chew his own leg off to escape. Without our supporters, Popular would have continued to endure the most unimaginable agony. His leg was so badly injured that the wound was seriously infected and infested with maggots.
Sadly, Popular’s leg could not be saved but, thanks to people like you, his life has been. Emergency cases like this are entirely dependent on our supporters. Just a few dollars a week is all it takes to enable us to provide vital, life-saving treatment to dogs like Popular.
This handsome boy has been given a second chance at life, but as you read this, another dog desperately needs you. Please commit to helping the stray dogs of Thailand, with just a few dollars a week. You are the only hope they have. CLICK THIS LINK to help them: http://bit.ly/Saving_Popular
