LAUNCH OF CAMPAIGN IN VIETNAM: Servers crash as Vietnamese rush to sign petition against the dog meat trade

On April 14th, Soi Dog Foundation with its partners in the Asia Canine Protection Alliance (Humane Society International, Animals Asia and Change for Animals Foundation), launched a campaign against the dog meat trade in Vietnam.

The campaign is backed by a number of famous Vietnamese pop and dance stars, as well as music producers and film directors, who feature in a specially made viral video explaining why the industry should be made illegal.

Upon the launch of the campaign, servers crashed as thousands of people signed the Vietnamese-language version of the petition to their government, calling for an end to the dog meat trade.

The campaign currently being held in Vietnam to end the dog meat trade is a legitimate campaign fully supported by Soi Dog Foundation and its partner organisations in ACPA.

YOU too can be a catalyst for change in Vietnam. Please join with the country’s citizens in signing the English-language version of the petition and end the brutal slaughter of millions of Vietnamese dogs every year.
