When a no-kill animal shelter in Indiana ran out of space to house homeless cats, what did they do? They sent a bunch of their felines off to the maximum-security prison!

At last report, the cats were much happier. So were the prisoners, and staff, too. It’s not quite a cat cafe, but check out this video about an innovative programme that seems to be a winner all round.

Malaysia has no shortage of homeless cats, either, and shelters all over the country are chronically overcrowded. If you’re looking for some great kitty companionship, please adopt � don’t breed or buy!
