WE LOVE ANIMALS! HOW ABOUT YOU?

Many thanks to Miss Nirmala for arranging fabulous activities for the �We Love Animals� club at Yishun National Library every month! This March, we were invited to give a sharing on magnificent sharks! The children and parents who attended the session were enthusiastic to learn amazing facts about sharks! They also learned that they should avoid consuming shark�s fins due to the presence of high levels of mercury in them, and also because sharks are disappearing from our oceans due to the trade in shark fins ,with devastating consequences for ocean ecosystems and, in turn, Planet Earth.

Do you know that that the symptoms of mercury poisoning draw some similarities to those of common conditions suffered by many young and old today? That is something we should really think about, especially when it comes to protecting the health and wellbeing of our loved ones. Here, we wish everyone in the world a healthy body, a healthy mind, and an animal-conscious heart!
