Cat going upstairs or downstairs? That’s a tricky one to figure out – but a happy cat is a free-roaming cat – free-roaming inside the home!

SPCA’s Inspectorate, in the course of its investigation work, encounters cases of cats tied up or caged in cramped conditions regularly (indoors or outdoors) by their owners. Denying felines their freedom is not a kind act.

Responsible cat owners in high-rise buildings will ensure their pet’s safety too, by meshing up window spaces as there have been tragic accidents involving pet cats falling from heights.

Being responsible is also about being considerate towards our neighbours. Keeping your pet cat(s) within your home not only keeps it/them safe, but fosters good neighbourliness too.
