The Three Wise Owls
Tweet | ![]() |
It was raining this afternoon and it was just perfect for making owls!
It took me the whole day, but I think it’s well worth the time, effort and the FUN!
Here you go:
From left:
Little Boy Blue (just adopted), Ms Pink (already adopted) and Red Pepper(also adopted).
The making of Red Pepperand Little Boy Blue:
Jessy wanted a red hot nerdy owl.
Making good use of used Pos Ekspres envelopes to cut out various sizes for the eyes.
To make it nerdy, one big eye and one small eye!
The pupils have to be placed one-up and one-down.
Thanks for the tips for the eye “rings”, Adeline and Jessy!
It needs a little beak.
Daffodil supervised this.
Luckily I have various coloured threads. Some parts have to be handsewn.
Here we are! With two little feet!
Ms Pink, meet Ms Red Pepper!
I’m using the curtain samples here.
Blue-eyed boy.
Taking the night shift is Ginger, chief supervisor of all AnimalCare Homemade Gifts.
Pupils to one side for the innocent look. And a tiny little beak.
Kapok stuffing time!
Ms Red Pepper, meet Little Boy Blue.
Adopted as a present for a little boy!
Thank you very much, Verona, for taking Ms Pink home!
And thank you, Jessy! We hope you like your red hot nerdy owl!
Anymore orders? I’m in the mood to sew….We have 4 more to go!
100% of your donations will go to our Fund for the animals.
