APPEAL FOR INFORMATION:

Cross-Breed found placed in a boxed-up cage

On Friday, 20 March 2015, at about 9pm, a black, female cross-breed dog was found, allegedly abandoned, in a boxed-up cage (see pictures) at the void deck of Blk 236 Bukit Panjang Ring Road near lift lobby A.

The SPCA is urging anyone with information on the culprit(s) responsible for this to call its 24-hour hotline at 62875355 ext 9 or e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

* Under the Animals and Birds Act, anyone found guilty of such an offence including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to $15,000, or both.
