Subject: Help needed to train/leash a young friendly dog
To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>
Dear Dr Chan
Hope all is well.
My friend, a Malay family needs help. She is staying in a new area in Telok Panglima Garang, Klang. Recently a young dog is found loitering in the area and they started feeding the poor doggy (could be a few months old based on picture forwarded). It was very thin and quite wary of human but not anymore. Gained some weight and very friendly, always running to them when it sees them. There are not many houses there at the moment and the closest neighbor, another family is also feeding the dog. At the moment, the dog seems safe where it is but once in a while it will come back with bruises with reason unknown. My friend is wondering if someone could help them train and leash the dog. They are prepared to build a small house for the dog which they will regularly feed like what they have been doing these past months. Of course, it would be good if someone could adopt the dog but if there is no takers then could someone help them train the dog a bit and have it leashed.
Could you recommend or suggest anyone please.
Thank you Dr Chan
Regards
azimah
