Katarina Was Just Trying To Protect Her Baby Kittens When She Was Viciously Attacked�

Katarina is a street cat � one of millions in Thailand, born on the street and never knowing what it is to have a home. She had only recently given birth when she was mauled by a dog and the attack left her eye hanging out of its socket. Despite this, she battled to care for her babies.

This brave girl was found by one of the people who feed the stray animals in their area and she immediately rushed to call Soi Dog. When our Animal Rescue Officer arrived to collect the little family, Katarina was in a tremendous amount of pain.

This is where the members of our Care for Cats Club save lives. Were it not for them, Katarina would not be alive today. With such a serious injury, she would have succumbed to infection and septicaemia. She would have been no longer around to care for her babies, so they too, would not have made it.

Thanks to the supporters in our Care for Cats Club, Katarina was able to have life-saving surgery to remove her eye, which was damaged beyond repair. She is making great progress in her recovery and is a wonderful mother. An entire family has been saved because of people like YOU.
