Jessy Lian wrote to me about her latest rescues who needed medical treatment. I suggested that she brought them to the nearest vet that is convenient for her and we will subsidise the treatment.
From Jessy:
Updates on Jaguar & it’s 3 siblings:-
Yesterday afternoon I bought all 4 kittens to the nearest vet. The vet said all of them have flu. Their gender are still too young (1+ month old) to tell. I told the vet that some of them (or at least 1 of them) have diarrhoea, cos I found a few liquid feces in the garden, but wasn’t sure which 1 of them were having diarrhoea.
Doc said other than their mother’s breast milk, at their age now they can also eat wet food, as long as they are able to eat on their own. (When I feed the mother cat - wet food mix with kibbles or cooked fish, the kittens will come over & have some by themselves).
Jaguar is the weakest & smallest and he/she needs the most attention & care. Julie Pek are kind enough to temporary foster little Jaguar. While I’ll be temporary taking care the other 3 kittens myself.
All 4 of them were dewormed & they are on: ~ ① Scourban for their diarrhoea ② Vetri-DMG to boost their immune system ③ Eye Ointment – Chloramphenicol
I temporary named the 3 kitten [big] Wolverine (the biggest of the 3), [medium] Puma (the fierce one that always hissing, spitting & growl at me) & [small] Leopard (the smallest of the 3).
From my observation, Wolverine & Leopard can eat wet food by themselves, whereas Puma is not interested & only suck the mother’s milk. So, Wolverine & Leopard are up for adoption, and Puma will be up for fostering. I can be contacted at 016-2988 636 or email jessylian@yahoo.com
At the vet's...and Jessy's list of questions to ask (all written down).
From top right, biggest to smallest - Wolverine, Puma, Leopard, Jaguar.
The vet deworming Jaguar.
Leopard
Puma
Wolverine, claiming all the food for her/himself. S/he growls when the rest comes for the food. Looks like an alpha.
I'm not called Wolverine for nothing, you know... The rest are all my X-minions. I'm the big boss.
We applaud Jessy for her quick action in not delaying sending these kittens to the vet's. Great work, Jessy! We are happy to support your work.
