Cassandra sent me a video of Cleo yesterday afternoon. She looked alright, and had been given four blood transfusions.
At around 7.45pm, Jessie (Cassandra's sister) texted me to say Cleo had passed away about an hour ago. According to Jessie, when Cassandra visited in the afternoon she had given her blessings to Cleo to let go if she is too tired of fighting on.
Animals know when to let go.
Sometimes our animal companions are so loyal that they will fight on just to make us happy. I've seen that many times. We, on our part, must understand this and give them permission to let go when they know that conditions are no longer favourable and it is time to rejoin the Universal Oneness (or whatever we wish to call it).
Cassandra did what was right and best for Cleo. She went all out to give Cleo the best possible treatment and yet, at the same time, allowed her beloved pet to let go as animals know best (definitely better than us humans).
We extend our deepest condolences to Cassandra and her family.
May Cleo be in a better place now, free from all forms of suffering.
