Tiny Lima Was Nearly Ripped From Limb To Limb In A Savage Attack�

A vicious attack by another dog left Lima with a large and extremely deep wound across her belly, as well as several more across her tiny body. When she arrived at our shelter, her extensive injuries were at risk of serious infection and 3 year old Lima was in agony.

In addition to having bite marks everywhere, Lima felt obvious pain when she tried to put weight on her back legs. The worst of the bites had penetrated down to the muscle. Without YOU, Lima would not be here today.

Because of people like you though, we were able to help her. Her wounds were flushed out and dressed, the more serious one having to be stitched. Lima was started on painkillers and antibiotics to give her the fighting chance she needed.

All this was funded by people like YOU. Dogs like Lima are entirely dependent on you in situations like this. There is no government funding; no other magic source of income to pay for their treatment.
