At the age of 3 weeks, Milky-Way, Max-A-Millon, Mugsie and Manny all arrived at our shelter covered in maggot-infested wounds.

They had been found by a kind local person who feeds the stray dogs in his community but their mother was nowhere to be found.

The kind person who found these pups kept a vigil night and day for their mother. In the middle of the night, he called our Animal Rescue Officer. Magdalena, the extremely frail mother, had turned up, but she was seriously ill. She was fighting for her life when she arrived at our shelter.
