Mrs Goh and Amy Tham rescued this mother-cat two weeks back. Apparently, this mother-cat has given birth many times, but each time, her kittens would all die. This time, her kittens died again.
The mother-cat was caught and sent to the vet two weeks ago, but her mammary glands were still enlarged and she could not be spayed yet.
She can be spayed now.
This is the mother-cat.
Her spaying is sponsored from our funds.
Mama is another mother-cat fostered by Amy Tham. Mama was brought to our panel vet for the treatment of faucitis many weeks ago. She had recovered with steroid injections directly administered into her gums, but recently, had stopped eating again. Since gum diseases are usually viral in nature, Amy is keen to try the RetroMAD1 on Mama and I had made arrangements yesterday for Mama to start on the drug.
This is Mama.
However, when Amy brought Mama to the vet today, one of the his clients had just taken whatever that's left of the drug. There was none left for Mama.
We have some left over from Lolo's supply (though very little), Amy will bring Mama to our other panel clinic for her daily dosage of the drug. Hopefully, it will help.
