Belva is about a year old. His face speaks volumes when it comes to telling of the suffering he has already endured at such a young age. Hit by a car and very seriously injured, he arrived at our shelter in agony.

The large wound on Belva�s hind leg meant he was at severe risk of dangerous infection. However, a kind Samaritan who witnessed the car accident scooped him up and took him to the nearest vet clinic, where he received emergency treatment. From there, he was sent to our shelter.
