I am 5 years and 10 months old and have been at Soi Dog Shelter in Phuket, Thailand for nearly 2 years now.

I was happy where I was living, but then everything changed one day. The local people in my area threatened to kill me. It is very difficult being a street dog; sadly sometimes you meet mean people who want to hurt you, even when you have done nothing wrong. I was so lucky though; a kind lady came to my rescue and brought me to Soi Dog. I can now live my life free from harm.

It is nice here. We are fed and cleaned and we don�t have to keep looking over our shoulders to make sure we are safe.

I am a good dog. I always wait my turn for a walk. I never escape like some of the others do. When our dog walker sits with us at the end of the day, I nestle in for a cuddle. We quite often sit together on the floor just the two of us. I hear her tell the other volunteers that I would make a wonderful pet and she could just see me sitting like this in the evenings, cuddling up in front of the television. I don�t know what a television is but it sounds interesting. I hope I get to see one one day. I have a huge goofy smile which makes everybody I meet smile back, but it also makes them happy which I think is a good thing.
