PRIVATE ADOPTION: This is not a Soi Dog Foundation dog; please email all questions to sherin.peace@gmail.com

Hi, my name is Jackpot. I am around 5 years old and have spent most of my life on the streets of Phuket, Thailand, fending for myself, with no one to love or care for me. When I was rescued I was in bad shape, with a terrible skin condition which had me covered with bloody, blistered lesions and sores, with no hair. I also had a bad case of blood parasites and anaemia.

Since being rescued by Doggie Heave, it has taken many months of recovery, but I have been so happy to be surrounded by love and to get the care I needed to recover. For the first time in my life I’m feeling happy & healthy and have learnt to trust humans and become a loving boy.

If you can adopt me, remember, I am not a Soi Dog Foundation dog so instead of commenting on my post, please email sherin.peace@gmail.com directly.

Although life is tremendously better here at Doggie Heaven, the physical and mental trauma I endured on the streets was so deep that I am still working to overcome some emotional wounds. What I need now, more than anything, is a permanent home with loving care and lots of patience.

Sometimes I am a bit panicked during car rides, but sticking my head out the window for some fresh air helps to calm me down. I am an avid runner, so someone to take me out on a run every day would be my dream!

I would also prefer my adopters to be adults who either have no other dogs, or one dog who is of a gentle nature and would not be aggressive with me. When I walk on the leash, I do not pull and I am very good at sitting on command. I feel I would make a great guard dog as I love to get to the highest vantage point at Doggie Heaven, so I can bark if I see anyone coming to the gate.

Is there anyone out there that would like to adopt a doggie like me?

Remember, I am not a Soi Dog Foundation dog so instead of commenting on my post, please email sherin.peace@gmail.com directly.
