Oh Zurik! I Am But A Fool

Yes, besides Winnie the Pooh’s “I’m just a little black rain cloud”, Mr Zurik also makes me hear Neil Sedaka’s “Oh Carol” with the former’s sneaky, crafty yet endearing antics.
What did he do today?
Well, he came late for breakfast.
And Mr Zurik does not just eat his food. He ATTACKS his food and the kibbles will fly out of the bowl.
Vincent decided we should waste not and want not, so he approached to eat up the kibbles.
Hmm….this is good.
Once upon a time, deadly enemies, and now…forging friendship and peace?
I am hopeful, folks.
I am lighting a candle for peace…
Good boy, Mr Zurik.
My dianthuses are intact. Yay!
Zurik:? ?? ????????? ???? ?????
(trans: I did not destroy your flowers)
Bye Heidi, I’m going for a walk in the playground.
Hmm…Mr Zurik, what are you doing in the basketball court today?
Oh, is he hoping this gentleman might adopt him? Helives in the neighbourhood.
Hmm…I see your plan, Mr Zurik.
Zurik:?? ?? ????? ?????, ?? ??? ???
(trans: You’re not very smart, are you?)
Zurik:? ???? ??? ???? ??. ????
(trans: I already have a home. Yours.)
Hmm…actually the basketball court was where Rosie started in her quest to enter our household. She knows in order to came to us, she has to get past “the boss” (my husband). So she started accompanying him for his taiqi every morning. Then, some leg rubs, “muka kesian”, sweet mewing and the rest is history (she brought Daffodil and Ginger came too).
Heidi did the same. Although she waited for me outside our gate on the culvert on her first day here, she too had to win the boss’ heart in order to secure a place in the kitchen. So, she also accompanied him during his taiqi at the basketball court. That won the boss over…completely. But unlike Rosie who is very aloof now, Heidi still accompanies my husband every day. Heidi is very sincere, isn’t she?
So yes, the basketball court is the starting point.
Oh, this is one of my friends at the playground. She belongs to one of the houses in the neighbourhood. She’s female and I call her “Little Mau”. She always comes to the playground in the morning and evening to play by herself, and then she goes home.
I’m just a little black rain cloud..hovering under your honey tree…
Onlya little black rain cloud, pay no attention to little me…
I’m just rolling around..
Oh, you don’t speak English, but you can sing English songs? Hmm…
Zurik:??? …
(trans: Oopsies)
Bye, Mr Zurik. I’m going home.
I’m hoping he will identify the red basket as his “home” and stay in the porch.
If he comes into the house, Vincent and Ginger are going to start spraying to mark their territory and I cannot have that…no, no. And of course, Indy, Cow and Bunny will also go on a massive spraying spree.
Grrr…
May the cat cometh in, please?
Oh, you do speak English, Mr Zurik? Medieval English, too?
Zurik:?????? ?????, ????? ??????????
(trans: Only when the occasion warrants it)
Ginger: Oh yay, we have a guest today! Maywe share some food with him, please, please?
Zurik:? ????? , ??? ???
(trans: Am I smart or what?)
Oh, Zurik, I am but a fool
Zurik, I love you tho’ you treat me cruel
You hurt me and you made me cry
But if you leave me I will surely die
