Our heartfelt thanks to Soi Dog supporters Jnanee and Sarah in New Zealand who shaved their heads in order to fundraise for the new dog hospital!

When Jnanee and Sarah heard that we are still in desperate need of funds in order for hospital construction to continue, they pledged to do something. Sarah’s friend Michael owns Grin Hairdressing in Palmerston North, New Zealand, and he kindly offered to help them.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the girls raised an incredible US$5,184 plus NZ$1726. They also had $250 of chocolates donated to the event by Baldeep Dhillon from Big Barrel New Zealand.

Special thanks go to Jacquelyn Valladares, a vet student who donated US$750 to the campaign.

These funds will help us keep going on the hospital project and our mission to give the dogs of Thailand the dedicated hospital they deserve – thank you so much to Jnanee and Sarah and everyone involved!

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
