Duke: The SPCA Commercial

Oooh, yeah, give it to me!

About five years ago, SPCA Selangor, Malaysia worked with the oh-so-clever Duke and his lady-friend, Winter, to film this video. Sadly, Duke has trotted off to the big dog park in the sky now, but his message is timeless. Kudos also to the SPCA staff and to Duke’s dog-loving humans for having a brilliant idea and for creating this world-class TV ad.

PetFinder.my came into being to find homes for the thousands of homeless cats and dogs in Malaysia. One of the key contributors to the problem is people’s reluctance to spay and neuter their pets.

The result? Too many animals, not enough homes.

You don’t need to breed more dogs and cats � why not do the humane thing and adopt them from http://PetFinder.my? Then, of course, be sure to spay/neuter them, if they’re not already sterilized. Duke and Winter (both rescued and neutered in real life) would thank you.
