My name is Kamari. Please ADOPT ME!

E-mail alex@soidog-foundation.org to adopt me.

I am 4 years and 6 months old and I have been living at Soi Dog, Phuket, Thailand, for 7 months now.

I used to live on the streets and to be honest I did fairly well for myself. I used to hang around the local restaurants and because I was a friendly dog, people used to feed me. It really wasn’t a bad life at all. One day though, everything changed. A mean person became aggressive and threatened to kill me. Luckily, someone saw and he hid me away and brought me to Soi Dog for my own protection.

I am safe here and for that I am grateful, but to be honest I don’t tend to get overly involved with the other dogs in my run. I sit on my sala and observe them all playing their silly games with vague amusement. I don’t really have any interest in joining in though. I am a little above it all really. I like to keep myself to myself.

Having said that however, I am great with people. I look a little like a big teddy bear with my fluffy cherubic face and I just love to be cuddled and to nuzzle. I love to be made a fuss of, but then again who doesn’t? The volunteers here say I am beautiful. I’m not showing off but I think it is helpful for you to know.

I would really like a nice home of my own now. A home with someone who would feed me and hug me. A home where I could nestle with my new family in the evening and they could tell me all about their day. I am a very good listener by the way.

Do you have a home I could come and live in please? If so, then please e-mail alex@soidog-foundation.org to find out what to do next.

I shall be waiting.

Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends rescued dogs and cats to their new homes in the US, Canada and Europe. The process is straightforward and we organise everything for you.
