OPENING YOUNG HEARTS AND MINDS TO THE WORLD OF ANIMALS

Do you remember what it was like to be a child, learning something new and surprising? However young they may be, children open their eyes (and hearts) to animals, almost instinctively. It was such a wondrous pleasure watching these little ones staying so focused while learning how to care for animals, during our special HEAL programme for kindergartens!

When we recently visited the children at Swallows and Amazons kindergarten, we opened their eyes to the wonderful world of animals, and shared many stories that show that animals have feelings. We also shared with them how it is much better to adopt companion animals from rescue centres rather than buying them from pet shops. And Penni- our little doggie ambassador for animals who was rescued from a puppy mill- was a hit, as always!
