OUTREACH UPDATE: YOUTHS SPEAKING UP FOR ANIMALS
When was it: 29 Jan 2015
Where did it take place: Tembusu College, National University of Singapore
Who was involved: Passionate learners, Concerned youths, Active listeners
Honoured by the invitation to the Master’s Tea at Tembusu College, it was a delightful experience for ACRES to share our views on animal protection issues with the students. That afternoon was filled with in-depth conversations and an engaging Q&A session, about an array of topics such as the illegal wildlife trade. We were truly comforted meeting these altruistic youths, and knowing that the future of animals will be bright with the rise of more socially responsible leaders in time to come.
“Never underestimate what you can do, even as an undergraduate.” Mr Louis Ng, Founder of ACRES, spoke up for animals when he was just an undergraduate. We hope that young people around the world will be inspired to #EndAnimalCruelty with us! This journey is never dark with all the flames burning bright in our hearts.
