Apparently, the mother-dog used to be looked after by a guard in Cheras, but some foreign workers were threatening to harm her. So the guard told one of the shelter volunteers to take the dog for her own safety, and all her five puppies as well.
The shelter is delaying her TVT treatment until they can find a fosterer for the puppies because once the mother goes on the chemo jabs, she cannot breastfeed anymore. But the other worry is that the five puppies are only about 12 days old, and they might catch a disease at the shelter as their immunity is very low at this tender age.
If you can help foster the puppies, please contact the shelter on 03-78461087. It is urgent.
