Snickers� Recovery From Horrendous Injury�

Imagine being hit by car, flung to the side of the road, and having to lie there, severely injured, with nobody to help you.

Snickers is just 4 years old and has already been through a lifetime of pain. Hit by a speeding car and left for dead, this poor boy was so lucky that a kind local person who saw the accident happen stopped to help him.

This person picked him up and raced him to the nearest vet clinic, where Snickers underwent an x-ray that showed a severe fracture in one of his legs. From there, he was transferred to our shelter, where he had to have pins inserted in the leg.

After several weeks, Snickers has had the pins removed and is slowly, with lots of rest, learning to use his leg again. He still has a long way to go, but we are hopeful he will make a full recovery.

All of Snickers treatment was funded by Soi Dog supporters. Without those who donate monthly for animals like him, the outcome would have been so very different�
