I have been at the Soi Dog shelter for almost 4 years now. My name is Opal.

I arrived with severe mange, blood parasites and worms. I was malnourished and emaciated. A life of pain on the streets meant I was a bit aggressive when I arrived. I was just so scared.

That was then though, and although I am still a bit shy today, I am very friendly once I get to know you. Do you think you can find it in your heart to sponsor me?

By doing that, you would be helping to provide shelter, medical care and food not only for me, but for all the animals in Soi Dog’s care.

You would be doing this in my name and I promise to write to you regularly and let you know how I’m doing.
