VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION AND OPEN HOUSE: YOU’RE INVITED!

Dear ACRES Supporters,

We have strived together over many years to bring an end to animal cruelty. Each accomplishment we share brings us closer to a world where all living beings live together free from cruelty.

But we cannot remain stagnant. Each step forward demands yet another step. In 2015, we have many projects in the pipeline that we want you to be a part of. You may be a student, baker, or musician – it matters not – for we believe there is a role for everyone. We invite you to share our aspirations, and the joy of seeing our treasured animal friends benefit from the fruits of our concerted efforts.

It lies within our hands to protect the vulnerable who cannot protect themselves. Be a voice for the animals this year! Start by joining us at our Volunteer Orientation and Open House.

Date: 8 February 2015 (Sunday)

Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Venue: ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC), 91 Jalan Lekar, Singapore 698917

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
