Basia Is About 6 Years Of Age And Has Lived On The Streets His Whole Life…

He has learnt to scavenge for food or if he�s lucky, devour any tidbits he gets thrown from kind locals. He has fought every day to survive and defend his territory.

We first met Basia after a local person found him lying by the side of the road, barely alive. He had been hit by a car and had a broken mandible (lower jaw). His agony was immense and we will never know how long he had been lying there.

The person who found him took him to the nearest vet clinic for emergency treatment, after which he arrived at our shelter. His face was swollen and he couldn�t move his jaw. He was drooling and unable to eat.

This is where the members of our Care for Cats Club transform lives. Thanks to their donations, we were able to get Basia the treatment he needed.

He had his broken jaw wired back together and is now slowly recovering. He is now able to drink unaided but still needs assistance eating until he has fully healed.
