APPEAL FOR INFORMATION / WITNESSES:

Two cats found dead on a grass patch, at Telok Blangah Crescent

(SPCA Ref. No.: AH 126235 )

On Friday, 16 January 2015 at about 7:45 am, two cats were found dead on a grass patch at the car park behind Blk 6, Telok Blangah Crescent. They were suspected to have been abused. Unfortunately, the bodies were removed by the time SPCA officers arrived and no physical checks could be carried out on them.

The SPCA urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of the bodies, or on the possible cause of death of the cats, to call its 24-hour hotline on 62875355 ext 9 or e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg.

(Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.)

* Under the Animals and Birds Act (pending revision), anyone who is found guilty of such an offence, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 12 months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
