For Adoption - Howie!

Howie has lived most of his life on the street. Sleeping on the sidewalk, waiting for a treat as people walk by. That is how he has spent the past 5 years of his life. He lived on the sidewalk to separate himself from the pack since 1 of the other dogs in pack was biting him so badly.

Despite all odds, Howie is a very healthy 5 year old that is heartworm free and is very clean. He loves humans and is a loyal dog. So loyal one night he followed my car most of the way home, running behind in the dark and rain. Howie will come when called and is gentle, and yet he will protect you and your family. He is happy to live outside, or happy to live inside as he has done at his Fosters. The foster loves Howie, but his cats are scared of him. He is potty-trained and very well-tempered. He is fine by himself or with 1 other dog, assuming they get along. He is good on the leash and also in the car. Howie is looking for his forever home ASAP as he and the other dogs can no longer live in the abandoned a lot according to the city.
