Sanctuary At Front Line Of Fight Against 'Inhumane' Dog Trade - CNN.com

The following CNN report, featuring some of the dogs rescued from the dog meat trade, was first posted over a year ago, but as many of you will not have seen it, we invite you to watch. (It contains NO overtly graphic footage.)

Do note that the report mentions that Soi Dog is running the Nakhon Phanom shelter. This is not the case – the shelter is run by the Thai government’s Department of Livestock Development.

The rescued dogs are brought first to Nakhon Phanom for vaccinations and medical care and, once well enough, are transferred to the Soi Dog run shelter at Buriram.

It is currently costing tens of thousands of dollars to feed and care for the rescued dogs at Buriram and we urgently need your help.
